    Hi,

i have a question, i ordered the 1LE Panhard 10262147, but it is not available anymore.

They were made until 1999, but the 2002 SS Camaro or 2002 WS6 Firebird do they have also a stiffer panhard ?
do they have an other partnumber, or is it the stock one, like the V6 and Z28 ?

It maybe stupid questions, but it is difficult to get parts with correct partnumber here in the Netherlands.
I have a 1993-2002 part catalog (PDF-file), and this catalog has only two partnumbers for the panhard, the stock one (i already have on my car) and the 1LE one.

    Re: 1LE Panhard

The only thing different is the stiffness of the rubber bushings.

Best replacement are ES poly bushings. I have the 1LE and am replacing the old bushings with the ES.

i have read a lot about the Camaro suspension (mostly on this site), when you replace the rubber bushings with poly ones, don't you get the "binding" problem ?

That's the main reason, i didn't buy a panhard from UMI

Has anyone ever tried the panhard MOOG K6341, they look the same as orginal

I dont see why you woulf get binding on the panhard bar. There is a little side to side movement but not super neccessary. I think an F body would be fine to run all polys on.

An A or G body on the other hand with the 4 link it is advised you run polys on the bottoms and rubber on one end of the upper arms. Theres different geometries going on bewteen a 4 link and torque arm F body style.

"Suspension Bind" affects the LCA only - not the PHR. The Moog are OEM replacements, but again, the ES is the best for the PHR.

            Thanks for the advice

Has anybody some experience with the "Roto joints" from UMI , what's the quality of this part ?
