I bought 30 mm front bar bushings from E-Bay for my OEM front bar 99. The seller says that 30 mm fits camaros 93-02. But when I put them to the bar they fit loose, not as tight as the old originals. Do you think that tightening the clamps going to fit OK?

Re: Front Bushings Size, help please.
I just got this from the technical database section:
Front stabilizer bar
93-97 30mm
98-01 28mm
Have anybody tried 30 on 99 OEM bar?Camaro99\'3.8, original spoil package (no body mods...PROUDLY), K&N, Lid 3800II, SLP CAI, Flowmaster, Z28Chrome Tips, 180* Thermostat.

Re: Front Bushings Size, help please.
The issue here is that the old bushings fit very tight and the new urethanes (prothane) fit very loose. I checked the Prothane site and they don't have less than 28. Only 30 and 32. They have 30 as OEM.Camaro99\'3.8, original spoil package (no body mods...PROUDLY), K&N, Lid 3800II, SLP CAI, Flowmaster, Z28Chrome Tips, 180* Thermostat.

Rule of thumb - NEVER trust the aftermarket. Do your own reseach - why we created the Tech Database.
When they say "OEM" they are taking about a V8 car. They don't care about, nor know anything about, the differences on a V6 car.
