My car is sitting right at 61K and I'm wondering if it's time for a caliper rebuild. I've ALWAYS had problems w/ my brakes--warpage of the front rotors in particular. Is this easy to do on my own? If not, how much $$ can I expect to get raked over the coals for?

I've always had problems with warping rotors also, it's common on the 93-97. Go with a set of KVR rotors or similar which are thicker and will dissipate heat and resist warping better, or do the 98+ conversion.1994 Firebird 3.4
15.65 @ 86.8
funkz.net/firebird
Timeslips

quick question? On my right front caliper I hear a noise when I apply my brakes. The caliper is not loose and seems to be working ,but,A pinching(binding type) noise is occuring. Would that be subject to a rebuild? I thank you for your time....Gman211203 Please note{ I did have the rotors and pads replaced aprox. 1 year ago and I only have about 9,000miles on them. Also I had removed the calipar not long ago to clean brake dust and check pads.I torqed to specs. and the left side seems to be okay. Maybe I messed the right side up? Also are we supposed to put thread lock on the bolts. Thanks again regardsmember.cardomain.com/gman211203
