okay.... first that brass thing slides through the shaft and goes on top of the shock. you might need to hammer it down.
the blue thing covers the shaft from dirt and such.
this is the order that it goes in:
nut
metal plate
rubber
car metal
rubber
metal plate
If that doesnt make sense IM me and I can explain better.

yes that makes sense but do you hammer on the brass plate?! what the heck purpose does it give? i didnt bother putting it on... i left it out with everything else, i guess when i do my springs i can go back and hammer it on but WHY?!?
thanks for the layout of how the car is sandwiched between the rubber and plates.. i did that right after an hour of pondering the purpose of the brass plate...
thanks-Hawk<br /><br />===================================<br />Black 2001 Pontiac Firebird<br />Automatic Transmission Street Bird<br /><br /> <a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/550453\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/550453</a> <br /><br />\"Live like you were Dying\"

Hammer that plate on, I can't quite answer what it does but I had to hammer mine on with a rubber mallet. I'm sure it's somewhat important, otherwise bilstein wouldn't have included it.Tom<br />Too many mods for this sig.<br /><a href=\"http://www.l337server.com/Tom/cars.html\" target=\"_blank\">My car\'s site</a><br /><br /><a href=\"http://www.FullThrottleV6.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.FullThrottleV6.com</a>
