I just got some Hawk brakes for my car and i was looking at some powerslot rotors for it, but i was talking to a guy at sears and he said they won't install them. I have to buy the stuff from them. They can just blow me for that. I've heard from some other people that most shops won't install unless i buy from them I just don't have the time or skill to do mine, i thought this would be so simple, i was just gonna buy the parts i wanted give them to a shop and come back and it would be done.

if you really dont want to do it yourself(it ant that hard). Go to a private owned place, there do it. Just find out what places around ya you can trust.
Privately owned shops will usually do it for ya. Set aside maybe an hour if you have never done it, and have your Haynes manual with you. You can do it no problem.

FWIW, most shops won't let you bring in your own parts. I had a shop owner tell me one time "Would you bring a steak to a restaurant and have them cook it?" Just so you have an idea of where they are coming from, they make a TON of money on their parts markups.
