What is the correct way to lubricate the BMR LCA's? I just bought the poly/rubber combo.

There is a little metal lead on the end of the LCA where you use this "squirt gun" to get the lubricant in there. I had a mechanic shop do this for me since I don't have one.

Its called a GREASE FITTING and you use a GREASE GUN to push grease in there.

I recommend using a waterproof marine grade lubricant on all suspension components. You want just enough in there it isn't squeeking, you can litterally blow the bushings out of the arms with hydraulic pressure if you apply to much grease to the arms.

Thanks for all the good info...

I called BMR and they said NOT to lubricate the rubber side.

They also said that the company that makes the poly bushings sells a special grease for their bushings. But it seemed expensive at $20. They told me the next best thing would be marine grease. One pump of marine grease from a grease gun into the grease inlet should do it. The grease should be checked/added every oil change.

when I installed mine I put enough grease so you can see it seep out the sides.. I also put some grease in the hole were the bolts go through.. It was easy to install just remember to lower the rear end before you unbolt the stock LCA's or they will fall out with all the weight of the rear coming with it..

Good job, thats how much you need to make it squeek free. 1 pump might not be enough at all.

Yeah.. I figured its better to overflow than to underflow.. the excess grease will seep out soon.
