  • Do our cars have panhard bars?

    Please excuse my n00bness...

Does my car have a panhard bar stock from the factory? 97 3.8L, BTW. Also, if it does have one, is there any difference between it and one from a 1995 Z28?

    Thanks for the help,
    Frank

    yes yours does.

if the z28 was a 1le car then the bushings would be upgraded. Otherwise no

Umi performance panhard rods are only like 65 bucks anyways

I have a UMI PHB and I really like it. It was pretty cheap too...

unless your car is lowered, the money would be better spent elsewhere

Well, I think the bar would be free, plus shipping.

you could accomplish the same thing by going to a parts store and buying a set of polyurethane bushings and installing them. Personally even if the car had 1LE bushings I wouldn't do it because you are talking about 12 year old bushings
