no such thing as 1le lcas to be bought. You can get the bushings though that make them 1le. That is the only difference between the normal and 1le lcas, just the bushings.

Ok...where do you buy those bushings then, any performance store? or is there a specific website? I see some on ebay right now but there used, I prefer new ones if possible

The MOOG ones are the same as 1le. or you can get some poly ones and just put them on the rear end side and not the body side of the LCA for the best combo.

www.gvperformance.com has the Energy Suspension poly bushings if you wanted the poly. Otherwise your local parts store should have some MOOG rubber ones

Yea but aftermarket has poly or rod ends, and this needs to be streetable...I want something with the harder rubber ends like the 1LE or the moog...arent the aftermarket LCA's pretty much the same thing anyways except for the bushing difference...I thought it was understood that our LCA's werent weak and didnt flex...so whats the difference or advantage of goin aftermarket?

aftermarket LCAs are fine for street use. Now if you were autocrossing or road racing then you would want to make sure to get the correct aftermarket LCA. But just normal driving you will be fine with poly. I run non-adj. UMI LCAs with poly bushings on my camaro and it works perfectly fine

Depends on what you mean by "works perfectly well".

Can you get away with poly? Sure. Is it the right material for the job? No way.

The geometry of our cars means the lca mounting point HAS to twist when the body rolls going around a corner. It's not a flaw, it's a design requirement. If you have poly it binds up and something else twists that is not meant to. That may work, sort of, but it's clearly not the hot setup.

The original poster had it right. 1LE rubber is a much better mod.

If you are DD the car and not racing it through curves you are not going to have bind. Sure if you are going through a road course or autox course there is going to be issues, but not just driving around town and 1/4 mile racing. Therefore poly works just fine for a DD car. If all you are after is to eliminate wheel hop then they will do that for you

Where did you get this from? I have GM 1LE LCA and PHR on my bird.

You have to get them from GM (unless GM is no longer selling them). The part numbers are available on my website.

And the MOOG bushings are NOT 1LE bushings.

There we go lol...I knew someone had em...Ok that part number is for 1 of em...I need to order 2 correct? and when doing so its the same part number, there is no left and right specifically? How much of a difference did you notice with them over the stockers...and Will the 1LE panhard be worth it on my car...its stock height with stock springs and shocks

                              Thanks
