yeah so my '96 bird leans but its due to either the struts or springs in the front or maybe both but i want to jus replace both of them do you know where i can find some that wont cost too much cause i dont want stock one because they go out to easily and also where can i find some wheels cause i know f-bird's and camaro's have a certain off set do yall know what that is by chance

Springs don't go out too fast, it's the stock shocks that suck. As far as spring replacements, eibach is probably one of the cheaper brands although not as widely approved. For stock ride height, you're best to get a set of springs off a lower mileage car and just swap those on. A cheap stock replacement shock is Monroe, but it's just that; a stock replacement. For stock ride height, tokicos are normally a good choice and rival the previous generations of bilstein before they went down the drain. For a lowered car you're better off going with adjustables like kyb agx or koni ($$$) or a re valved shock that will cost you some more. I believe the offset is 46mm, though generally anything from +38 to +50 works depending on the width of the wheel. Bolt pattern is 5x120.65mm.Last edited by TheGr8Schlotzky; 03-04-2008, 02:13 PM.
