  • I Hate Bikers!!

Get out of the F***ing road!!! Why do you decide to ride your bike on a big 4 lane road, going 15 mph?!? Use the damn sidewalk or keep up with traffic!!!

Heres what happened, i'm going down the road, doing 35, 5 over the speed limit. All of a sudden the car infront of me swerves hard to the left. I'm thinking, "Oh ****, what was that about?" Then I see it, some stupid idiot on a bicycle, pedaling along. There is a car on the left of me now, so I can't swerve over. I have to slammmm on the brakes, I come within inches, literally inches of this guys back tire. I am now doing 15 right behind this guy, thanking whoever up there that just stopped me from killing him. I said a few choice words and blasted by him.

haha I hate that too. Especially when there is a sidewalk right there. That probably doesn't mean a lot though since just about everything pisses me off these days.

      Hey jackoffs.

Bikes are NOT to use the sidewalk. Sidewalk = ticket.

That bike is entitled to that lane just as much as you are. Be aware that we are out there. I almost plowed right into the side of many cars that decided to floor it to get ahead of me only to make a right hand turn not more than 20 ft in front of me.

What happened to you is the fault of the car in front. Had he/she been looking they would have slowed and moved out of the way. Your true rant should be with the jerk in front of you. Imagine if it wasn't a cyclist, but another car. Who would you be upset with? The car that moved out of the way at the last minute or the car that is currently in front of you?

I stick to the line as much as possible, but here in California our sweepers can't seem to clean up that little 2ft wide strip to the right of the line. So I have a choice, ride the line and have jerks hit me or ride the gravel/glass and wind up not being able to stop when the jerk cuts me off.

Lol, they have made lanes just for bikes here in most places thank god. Gotta love it when you come around a turn on a back road and their they are, right in the middle of the d@mn street. This seems to be the new trend, put on yellow spandex shirts and ride in the street

Sounds like you were too close to the car in front of you based on your reaction time. Bikes get a little annoying at times, but they have every right to be there, so don't blame them.

I know they share the road. I have no problem AT ALL with bikers that can keep up with the flow of traffic. If your gonna ride in the road, you better be using your hand signals too.

If your out for a jolly slow 10 mph ride, i'm sure no cop will care that you are on the sidewalk. Oh yeah, So you want every little kid riding his bike in the street too...?

Careful now Bicycle people don't like when they are told to get the hell out of the way.

A radio show here did a topic about them last year and the bike people are still all over them, even tryed to sue them.

If there's a bike lane, its cool, ride your bike in that lane. Stay in that lane. If there's no bike lane and there IS a sidewalk, RIDE ON THE DAMN SIDEWALK. It's the worst when you have to swerve into oncoming traffic just to go around those people.

I think I'll go find a busy street to ride my bike on.

as others have sed the sidewalk is not intended for bicycles. the sidewalks are for pedestrians- the bicycle is considered a motor vehicle, you being the motor, or some other reason like that. on a side note is there ne laws about rollerblades and skateboards on the sidewalks, im sure theyve plowed into people. ne way if he was riding in the middle of the street and not at an intersection making a left he is both inconsiderate and idiotic

Pretty sure the bicycles on sidewalk thing varies from area to area. I know it was legal back when I lived in Florida, but is illegal here in Hawaii.

JMO..if a biker is out too far in the road..then he/she is just being an @sshole and abusing the privelage of being able to use the street just as cars do..otherwise..if they are over just about as far as they can be..and you are driving at a speed suitable for conditions..then there's no reason why there should be a problem
