    Re: new car.. again

yeah.. can't complain about the speed to much.. i am looking forward to getting better gas mileage.. having a 5-speed and getting a BOV.. also the guy who owned this car before me was the guy who owns the dealership. he is selling it to buy a caddilac escalade.

oh yeah.. its also running around 15 ponds of boost which is higher the the stock 6 or 8 psi(not sure what stock is excatly).. so it should easily run in the high to mid 13 seconds :)

I have a mopar short throw shifter on the way too

Stock is 12 psi or something close, that turbo is tiny, 6 or 8 psi wouldn't be ****.

              HOTNESS!

04 is better... you have LSD!

Boost spiokes of 15-16 stock are common then once the spike is over expect about 11 ish.

              My buddy has one.

              Mods:
              stage 2
              down pipe w/ side exhaust

I installed the stage 2 kit (you can buy it from the dealer) and it REALLY woke the car up!

2 weeks ago the exhaust got done. He opted for the no cat version, 3 inch down pipe with side exit exhaust.... i LOVE it! Sounds gorgeous and damn quick now!

              Best of luck!

From lurking at srtforums, stage 2 is a waste of money. Stage 1 and 3 are good IIRC

                  stage 1 is a waste.

stage 2 seemed to be a pretty good gain in my opinion.

stage 3 is a bigger turbo.... of course it makes good gains :)

                    Re: new car.. again

i love this car.. the thing is really fast.. i love the turbo and flooring the car in 1st or second gear will spin the tires.. aparently on the srt4 forums every one has that problem and i need to get upgraded motor mounts to put the horsepower to the ground and eliminate the wheel hop/spinning

i saw a lot of stock time slips over at the srt-4 forums and it looks like bone stock srt-4s run about 13.8 second quarter miles.. with upgraded motor mounts turbo timer and a wastegate actuator a lot of people are running 12.7-13.1s which isn't bad considering its only about 600-900 in modifications.

                        www.srtforums.com
                        www.neons.org

                        I've seen a stock srt4 go 13.7
He then did a "boost trick" to get 1-2 lbs extra out of it and eeked out a 13.6
