It's a big country, and no matter where you put it, people will complain about the distance. Personally, I'd drive 10 maybe 12 hours for a GOOD meet. I would be PISSED if I drove 10 hours just to hang out with Dan and his gay a$$ mustang.

agreed. I wouldn't mind driving a day for a good meet, especially if it was in convoy with other east coast peeps.

Nah but we really should try getting with ftv6.com and getting some v6 mustang sites to try and have a big race day of v6 fbody vs. stang or something. :) In ohio or somewhere in the central US

As much as I dislike the idea personally, it would be a good thing. But I wouldn't do it if we were just the followers to an FTV6 thing. Thats just not acceptable. If it was something we could co-plan with FTV6, I would be up for it.

They wouldn't want to have a CENTRALLY located event, they would all just tell us to come to Texas, which I am not driving 20+ hours there.

Like I have been saying, I have been partial to OH, only because it centralized in the midwest and east coast states.

It needs to be somewhere with something to do. If people are driving a few hours they will probably want to do something other than hang out in a parking lot for a few hours.

Maybe try to schedule something for the weekend of american le mans at mid-ohio? I don't own a f-body anymore, but I think that would be a pretty cool event.

id go 10 hours, but like everyone said, it'd have to be a real good meet. im loving the ohio thing too. theres alot of us over in oh, pa, ny and nj alone.

personally, any trip longer than 5mins is too long, and good luckgetting me to drive more 3hrs anywhere. :p

9hrs is a good refrence, Dayton to Fredricksburg VA, 600 miles or so.

Here is something that might work, whatever reigon that you live in, find a central location for everyone in that reigon to meet. Its just to dang hard for people to get away from their day to day life and travel 10 hour to not know how the turn out is going to be. Start small, if you have good turnouts at smaller meets, generally, in the future, you know that those are the hardcore people that are going to drive that xtra mile to make a big event happen. I just do not see a whole lot of people showing up and it turning into a wate of time if you try to go all out on big meet. Make it a regional thing and then work up to a yearly All reigons meet somewhere!
