    It think tubulars are a great mod... IF you get them cheap which you can... I would take them over a $300 set of headers anyday.


    There were threads about dyno results, only like a 3-5 hp difference, and a good $250-270 difference in price.

      Never done them on the 3.8 but the 3.4 is a breeze. My LT1 is a biiiiotch to change. Remember kids, when replacing plug wires on a 100k+ mile opti crap to change the opti crap too.

        both my cars have stock manifolds WITH heat shields and emissions tubes

          Getting the heat shields off the logs was probably the hardest part of doing the tubular swap. Took way too long and I eventually resorted to cutting the heck out of them.
