yeah between some more tuning and getting my 60's down a bit i could get close to 12s..i dont know whats up with the first 150 shot MPH..i was surprised when i saw that..im thinking maybe the computer/fuel system just needed to adjust to that temp and the juice..yeah the second 2 are pretty good though..id like to be trapping up around 103 MPH again though..i woulda taken more runs..cuz there was only like 5 cars there!..but i ran out of juice about 1/2 way through the next run and ran a 14.0 ..so bein happy for the day i just left after that..i think that GTO was gettin a little tired of me whoopin him too ;)

Don't try the 150 shot again... WAY huge... you probably ran lean at some point.
I got down to a 13.4 street tire, 120 dry
12.8 nitto drag radial, 120 dry
I gained 111 RWHP and 160 RWTQ with a NOS kit 120 dry shot.
I know where there is a perfect converter for ya ;)
I'm stumped though.....14.4 at 95 on a 120 shot?
Did you run your puter on the car to see what was going on?
Have you gone to the track... and made back to back N/A vs nitroused passes?
BTW, congrats ;)Race car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6

thanks man ..i think the problem is still the nozzle location..thats why im looking into a different type of intake that will be better for a dry fan nozzle location..it sticks into the air box in the back next to the air temp sensor..i tried to angle it to spray down the intake but i think a lot of it is spraying across the intake and missing it..and possibly spraying right out of the air box..so although im running a 150 shot jet..i dont think im getting a full 150 shot out of it..the bottle pressure was up to 1200 - 1300 psi on the 120 shot too..so like i said..i think i missed a lot of the juice..but the computer still picked up on the cold air..i dropped it down to 1000 psi for the 150 shot and it ROCKED..so i just left it as is..im still waitin on a battery for this frigin laptop so i can see whats going on for sure though..but thats my theory..i've even taken the air filter out of the car and hit the WOT switch with my finger while bringing the rpms up and i can see a lot of it missing..so i REALLY gotta get some logs and possibly a better intake setup for a dry kit 12 SECOND DUAL STAGE DRY NITROUS POWERED 98 A4 V6 CAMARO
www.MySickCamaro.50megs.com
Best ET: 12.82@103
Best MPH: 104.7
Best 60\': 1.75 - Stock TC

quote:
Originally posted by Shodown:
1DV6 runs 12\'s...enough said.

Wait....you have the nitrous plumbed into the LID?
If that's the case, no wonder things are screwy. I'm no nitrous guru, but that can't be consistant.

Looks like you need to get some better hose and get the nozzle in there. I don't think I've ever seen someone with the nozzle in the back of the lid. Seen a few LS1s that spray in from the sides of the lid, but I would think that spraying in from the back would be quite in consistant.
