  • Where can I get a Custom Chip made?

OK- we are screwed computer wise really b/c there is no L36 Edit program to speak of.

Im currently installing a SLP CAI, Flowmaster American Thunder, 3.73s, posi, new torque converter, shift kit, and NX Kit.

I want to get this thing tuned right after dynoing. Are there any companies that can burn me a custom chip so i can get the most out of the motor.

Yep, and the Mini-AFC works too, even though I don't have the induction to make much use of it.

Does the ZZ chip include tuning the air fuel ratio, timing, and fuel delivery?

Last I spoke with him he said no. he says he broke one of his tools needed to do programming.

Since noboby has outright answered this - there is no chip in a 96, so you can't get one. Re-programming is the only option, if you can find someone to do it.

Ah Nuts! I was following this thread to see if we as 1996 3.8 owners could get a positive reaction on a chip. Oh well, that sucks!

96 owners can just switch to a 97 pcm if they want.

                          Are you sure about that?

Didn't they redo the guage cluster and possible other things that wouldn't allow you to go to a 97 PCM?
