• 3.4L Owners Only!!! What your gas mileage like?

I get between 270-300 miles to the tank. What about you guys?

I'm trying to see if my gas mileage is average, above average, or below average that's why I wanted to know from other 3.4L owners...

I do a lot of commuting so most of my mileage is highway miles, about 2/3, and I get around 24-26 mpg.

I just posted about that a few days ago. My mileage is now about 15 mpg . I only go 200-250 miles on a full tank. It really blows. It used to be 300-400 on daily city driving. I thought it was because the way I drive ;) . But I tried driving slow and nice a week ago and I still got about 235m on a tank. I think it's because my engine is approaching 100,000 miles, at 97,000 now. The piston rings are probably very worn and I burn alot more oil than I used to. Last oil change, I was down 2 quarts  .

I get around 250 for each tank, using around 12.7 - 13.1 gallons of gas, mixed city and highway w/ an emphasis on highway. That's about 18 MPG. Average speed on highway is 70, sometimes 75 (I know, I'm such a badass!! )

96,400 on odo, too.

I've filled up once, and put in $5 twice since then, and gotten about 200 miles total.

I only get about 180-200 miles before I fill up, comes out to around 14 miles a gallon I think.
Pretty terrible mileage, all city driving.
I get about 30 on highway though.

I can answer this question easy. I ran mine out of gas last friday night with 346 miles on that tank. I hate these gas guages.

Damn, I'm getting pretty ****ty mileage then 20mpg...

Should I change my o2 sensors? I dont remember changing those... ever and the odometer has 76,560 miles on it

I suspect those to be the cause of my ****ty mileage... what you guys think?
