1) check your oil
2) any thick, white smoke coming out of the exhaust?
3) add anything recently to it? Even if the bottle of coolant says something to the tune of "Mixes with ALL COLORS AND BRANDS," you still shouldn't add it to the system if you have dexcool already in there
Mine is a very little like this. I have done the intake gasket the last week and there is this moisture on my lower intake gasket(passenger side). Oil could be mixed with coolant in this point.
But i don't know today if i loose coolant (only 50miles)
Do the intake gasket, mine were shot and the car had only 65000....
The older line of Dexcool did this type of thing when foreign matter or liquid was introduced into the system. Sometimes even if regular tap water was mixed in vice distilled water, or sometimes bubbling air from a leak somewhere. I'd flush the crap out of the ENTIRE coolant system, then add in the new stuff. Green. Orange. It doesn't matter now-a-days. They're both fine.
i do want to do the intake gaskets. but the oil is right as rain, no funky color. just oil. there is a little moisture in the oil. i see this when i take off the oil cap, worse in the winter.(more water biulds up)
I couldnt do and EntirE flush cuz i couldnt drain the the coolant from the block. i cant find the kncock sensors, or anything to unscrew to get the old coolant out. so i did a good flush, but a half *** flush since i never drained to block. i spent all day messing with it. but that GOO is still stuck to everything in the rad. i can only get it off by wiping it off with towels. so i think illl need a new rad soon. car cools fine tho.
wouldnt a gasket leak also leak outside the engine somewhere, or is the intake gasket supposed to seal off the intake part? im not a retard with this stuff, but im trying to draw conculsions here. i dont have a leak, just this wicked goo.
never mixed it up with green. and the white smoke isnt there.
how do you flush the entire system out?
btw my humble thanks to the responses

I had the same thing in my 2000 Firebird, The Pontiac guy called it the Dexcool Sludge, drained and refilled..no damage to anything..seems the sludge floats or something bizzare..most will end up in the overfill tank
Prestone has a back flush system that you can use to reverse flush your system using the outlet hose for the heater core. I had the same sludge from Dexcrap and it took multiple flushes and cleaners.
Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
Hi all new to the community here. I have a 2014 RS 6 speed manual... and so about a year ago my tail lights got cracked and eventually the plastic housing...
