I have a wet kit right now and have been having troubles with backfires, I want to convert it to just a dry shot. is it as easy as disconnecting the fuel solenoid and changing out the nitrous jet??

Re: Converting Wet to Dry
you need to put in a bypass jet as well with the vacuum line to have a dry setup

Re: Converting Wet to Dry
Is it okay to basically just disconnect the fuel solenoid and change the nitrous jet or are there severe risks involved with doing this??Why hop up a V6, cuz $724 a month for insurance is a little steep.

Re: Converting Wet to Dry
Me along with some other people I consider to have a substantile knowledge with n2o believe that it is bad to spray the mass air flow sensor. Due to the fact that Im compensating for the fuel with it being a wet kit, I shouldnt need to have the sensor compensate also. Does this seem to be an accurate statement??
My question is, Is it okay to spray a wet kit at a mass air flow sensor? Is it a good or bad idea, or does it not make a difference??Why hop up a V6, cuz $724 a month for insurance is a little steep.

Re: Converting Wet to Dry
Well, I would like to know some more info on your set up please.
What occurs when you have these backfires?
How much are you spraying?
Where is/ are your nozzle(s) located?
What set up?
What mods?
As for spraying with maf....

Re: Converting Wet to Dry
I have a K and N intake kit. Cat back by flowmaster. Lower temp thermo. I put on a 75 shot from my cold fusion wet kit. and have been experiencing backfires. Does the lack of different spark plugs make that big of a difference??Why hop up a V6, cuz $724 a month for insurance is a little steep.

Re: Converting Wet to Dry
see..this is why i like dry kits..although they produce less power..the computer does (almost) all of the tuning for you :)<b>12 SECOND DUAL STAGE DRY NITROUS POWERED 98 A4 V6 CAMARO<br /><a href=\"http://www.mysickcamaro.50megs.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.MySickCamaro.50megs.com</a><br />Best ET: 12.82@103<br />Best MPH: 104.7<br />Best 60\': 1.75 - Stock TC</b><br /> </font><blockquote><font size=\"1\" face=\"Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif\">quote:</font><hr /><font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif\">Originally posted by Shodown:<br /><strong>1DV6 runs 12\'s...enough said. </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif\">
