I have a wet kit right now and have been having troubles with backfires, I want to convert it to just a dry shot. is it as easy as disconnecting the fuel solenoid and changing out the nitrous jet??
Why hop up a V6, cuz $724 a month for insurance is a little steep.

you need to put in a bypass jet as well with the vacuum line to have a dry setup

Is it okay to basically just disconnect the fuel solenoid and change the nitrous jet or are there severe risks involved with doing this??

            Re: Converting Wet to Dry

Me along with some other people I consider to have a substantile knowledge with n2o believe that it is bad to spray the mass air flow sensor. Due to the fact that Im compensating for the fuel with it being a wet kit, I shouldnt need to have the sensor compensate also. Does this seem to be an accurate statement??

My question is, Is it okay to spray a wet kit at a mass air flow sensor? Is it a good or bad idea, or does it not make a difference??

Well, I would like to know some more info on your set up please.

What occurs when you have these backfires?
              How much are you spraying?
Where is/ are your nozzle(s) located?
              What set up?
              What mods?

              As for spraying with maf....

              Wet kit after.

I have a K and N intake kit. Cat back by flowmaster. Lower temp thermo. I put on a 75 shot from my cold fusion wet kit. and have been experiencing backfires. Does the lack of different spark plugs make that big of a difference??

see..this is why i like dry kits..although they produce less power..the computer does (almost) all of the tuning for you :)

Im running the stock plugs that came with the car. Can the ones your talking about be picked up at any local car store or do they need to be orderd off the net??

Alright, so with my set up and these ngk spark plugs should I have a solid setup?? Or is it a pretty bad idea to spray at the maf sensor??
