As for the fans, I hope they get their due as well, making us look bad by throwing stuff.

Ben Wallace shouldnt have done what he did, but it happens, as a professional athlete you are NEVER supposed to react to fans by going into the stands.

The Pacers aren't going to be as bad off as the Pistons. The national media is having a field day ripping on Detroit. Even though any other fans would have reacted the same way (I.E Yankees/Red Sox).

I was screaming at the tv last night. Artest is a loser, I hope he is banned from the NBA, sued for every dollar he has, and goes to jail.

Look on the bright side now, Artest is going to have a lot of time to work on his recording career. I'll be sure to buy it.. ha ya right. Kick his *** and all the other thug ***** show offs out of the NBA. O'Neal, Jackson, and Artest should be suspended for the rest of the season. Who cares about giving them fines. The fans they hit turned into instant millionaires once they charged into the stands.

First we lose the Olympics because of their show off asses.. next they're charging into the stands to fight the fans. What could possibly be next?

i was at the local bowling alley with a big group of friends and we all just kinda stopped to watch the fight. it was awesome. [img]graemlins/popcorn.gif[/img]

but nothing beats the red wings/avalanche fight back in 97 or 98 during the 3rd period.

Artest, O'Neil, and Jackson for the Pacers are all suspended indefinately. Wallace for Detriot was suspended too.

This is definately going to hurt the Pacers season.

It will also hurt detroit. Wallace is a force inside and is a rebounding machine.

Putting the fan fight aside, I can't blame Wallace too much. Everyone knows Artest and his eratic behaviour. Getting a hard foul from that guy is rarely, if ever an accident.

I am not justifiying any of it, just Wallace being pissed about the hard foul.

well heres my opinon, wallace acted unprofessional, and it was all about to end, but then punk *** fans start ****, if u watch someone threw a beer at artest who was just lying there. true he shouldnt of gone into the stands to fight they guy, but the other two jackasses that walked out onto the floor deserved to be hit, watch espn.com they cover it great
