www.denniskirk.com is a pretty good place. Got a helmet there once. If I were you I'd sop local so you won't have to pay shipping. as for a good slip-on, you can't go wrong with Yosh or Akrapovic. Good luck.

http://www.cardomain.com/id/nitroxxx28

thanks devil, Ill check it out....so far out of the honda 600's and suzuki 600's the yamaha is the most ergonomic bike Ive riden, this is my first crotch rocket...Ive been riding dirt bikes since I was 10 and for the past year or two ive been riding a honda shadow....slow cruiser, but great to start off on....already bought some of my leathers, picked up a good jacket, and a new matching helmet when I got the bike, I still need boots and a decent pair of gloves....other than that Im good to go....thanks and Ill get pics up soon

Ahhh my friend Chase has an R6 its naaaaasty. He runs cam 2 in it like its nothing. Ahhh u smell cam 2 everytime he rolls by. I suggest buying the bars that stick out the side incase u drop it nothing gets scratched/hurt. Bars catch it. Hes had his R6 up to 175. Those bikes are so sweet. I either want a Yamaha or a Ducati. Suzuki GSR isnt bad either.1994 Arctic White Camaro T-Tops(all options except leather)
80 Series Flowmaster Muffler
Ebay Cold Air Intake
Earthquake in the back known as a Kicker Solo Baric 15 L7

http://www.cardomain.com/id/sirshaun

There's no way a cop would be able to keep with you if you ran, is there? ((Just curious, I would never buy a bike anyways. Might as well put the money towards a supercharger.))Sinister Six

1998 Sport Metallic Gold Firebird A4:

Whisper Lid, 5% Limo Tint, 30th Anniversary Side Stripes, 3\" Borla Catback Dual Exhaust, Man Fan Switch, SLP CAI
http://members.cardomain.com/98goldbird

As SirShaun said, get some frame slides. The BEST investment you can make for the bike. The best investment you can get for yourself is LEATHER, followed by patients.
One of our other V6 members had a mishap recently with his new bike by screwing around. These new bikes have more HP/WT ratio than you can ever image. Just learn the bike this season. Find it's lean angle and what makes you comfy. Find the the power band (after the break in) and learn that to your advantage.
Buy a manual!! Do as much work on the bike as you can. You thought modding/or having a dealer work on a F-body was expensive.... no way! Hands down, the bikes are!! The more you can do, the more you save, the more mods you can do. Plus it gives you the knowledge and satisfaction that you did the work. Even oil changes are expensive on a bike with the dealer doing them!!

And yes... when riding and you see another sportbike, you'll find that they wave. It's a brotherhood thing. Should do it too. It's amazing how nice riders are.
