Actually some of the worlds fastest Fieros have V6 powerplants used epecially those with the 3800Supercharged GTP or Grand national swap you can pull the fieros with the LS1's all day long and still hit up the local track mets and push around the miatas. It gets better power to weight ratio.

Even though a V8 will offer some high end performance better than that of theV6 powerplants, Iam leaning highly towards a V6 powerplant if I do a swap.

Since I got only an 84 with a very nice Iron Duke 4banger I might just leave it alone for sometime and get to work on the body first. It still needs more wiring which is gonna cost me  once thats done then i could swap it.

      I really want a Lambo!.

Alot of guys here at the milehigh fiero club is doing the 3.4swap to theirs its nice but i wanna be alittle diffrent than those guys.

3.8 would be much better especially if it was turboed.

MISC: 01 parts. Some interior, T top kit, seats etc.

I mean if you had a 2.8L in it already... I woudl say a 3.4L swap is a possiblity... but you have a 2.5L 4 banger and its a bit of work to swap in a 3.4L, might as well look into a 3.8L...

granted a 3.4L will be cheap, and you can go the carb route more easily.

I think for now the 2.5 will have to do until the car is complete overall because I don't want to drop in a GN motor and it flys like a rocket and can't corner very well.

But a 3.8 is my best choice for now, I want to spank a Supra badly!.

The first part of what you said is the reason why I have turned it down manytimes before in the past.

Alot of the folks in the Fiero club here has the L67 swap done to theirs. I would love to use a Grand national insead.:naughty: but finding that motor is like looking for Lamborghini parts.

The tranny is the weak link to this car. Unless it has the '88 4 speed auto or 5 speed manual.

I would go for the GTP myself. By the way, lambo kits are not dead. There's plenty of them out there.

There are very few 3.8's that can spank a Supra.. because stock Supra's are a very rare beast these days..
