how is an ls1 any more expensive to maintain than any other motor? you talk like its a exotic motor where you have to pay 1200bucks for a oil change.

Compared with the old V6 it is expensive id rather stick with the old six in an Fbody.

Don't get me wrong I love the LS1 but id rather not have it in a Camaro.

no its not. i dont know where the hell you get your info, but it'll cost about the same to fix a ls1 as it would a v6. the only problems ive every really heard of with the ls1 is that the first few years had piston slap issues which isnt really that big of a deal and the pushrods arent the strongest.

it has to do with your constant hatred for the v8 fbody. every post you make is the same thing.

LT1 and LS1 is a great engine but its nothing special in a camaro. you need a corvette!.

I personally Like my V6 the way it is because its a fun daily driver all an LS1 is gonna do is make it faster as well as more expensive to maintain. I like the LS1 don't get me wrong but not in a Camaro

Don't bother with those guys. I have a guy here with a Catfish who wants me to toss in a V8 in mine and I refuse to do so.

Id rather have a Corvette with a V8 than a Camaro with a V8. Again if I wanted speed I would have gone after a Lamborghini or something like that that you know

Without the Countach there probably wouldn't be a 4gen camaro

and then on to the zr1

Not interested in the ZR1 atleast not now at 100k I wouldn't pay for it even if it does seem to be the best bang for the buck deal there's many other cars I could spend my well earned money on insead
