Well lets see what Gm will do to the Camaro. If they really want to offer a turbo charged camaro how come they don't offer a V6 package with the 3800 series II turbo charged like they did for the Grand National, but the Grand National is a 3800 series I. It would not take Gm a long time to figure out how to make a 3800 series II turbo charged Engine.

okay, i think we can all safely agree this will never happen. That engine is dead and has long since been replaced by the 3800 series III which will be discontinued this year as far as I know. Also, I believe there was a superchaged Series II at some point.

At least look at it this way. We are gonna be able to do turbo swaps and be able to get more power although i would not like to see that.

If you buy a domestic sports car with a 4 cylinder, it better be AWD or FWD. Putting a 4 banger turbo in a RWD "muscle" car doesn't make it a sports car imo. The Camaro/Firebird is defined by a RWD sports car that affordable and powerful, I didn't buy my firebird for looks and gas mileage. Now a turbo 6 would be better!
