3.90's at 75mph is 3000rpm on the dot... gears will be a huge difference for power up top...like I said, if I am going 75mph and need to pass someone I can't stay in it for very long cause she will jump to 100 pretty fast...but that damn 60-75 is flat
edit: The fastest car I have ever driven is an IS 350

I cruise right around 2900 RPMs @ 80MPH with my 3.73's (but the stock tach is abit off :P). Faster car I've driven: 07 Z06 'Vette. I liked it, but I'm still impressed with the power my car has. I know whenever people try to race me on the street, unless I'm prepared for it they take me right out of the hole because the down low torque is horrible; but if I'm waiting for them (as in waiting to launch @ 3000 :P), then they usually just disappear in my mirror :). Mustang GT's aren't a match unless they're heavily modded.

With my 3.73's at 75 mph I'm at 2600 rpms, After every shift at WOT my car is at 3200 rpms and above this is with the stock stall. It is perfect for my nitrous setup. I can brake stall the 02' tranny to about 2200 rpms, so I like it alot. I won't get a new stall unless the stock one goes bad. Then it will be a 3000 stall.
LETZRIDE,^^ Mines at 2600 RPMS at 75mph. 02' , A4 in my 96' Camaro.

pretty much....I suspect that lexus may have under-rated those engines since it only makes like 277 tq, and I believe it weighs in the same as a z28 or T/A....3200-3300lbs...
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
